Grant takes the bus in the mornings, and the bus goes by both of these locations. So sometimes, he'll tell me that he sees film equipment set up, and I usually go check it out.
Today was one of those days. So, I went down to White Point (which is where we took our picture for the Christmas card), and sure enough, there were lots of trailers and tents and crew scattered around. Turns out, they were filming the tv show Bones, which I've never watched, but it's still cool to see.
A couple months back, and just down the road from White Point, they were filming the tv show Numbers, which is another one we don't watch, but I was curious to see how the location was used in the show. So, I set the DVR to record it every week, and finally saw the episode. It's just cool to see the place you live on tv!
The rocky area sticking out in the water in this first picture is where we go tide pooling every now and then.
I saw an episode of NBC's Life being filmed at the Del Amo mall a couple of months ago. It's the Christmas episode, so it should be airing soon. But, like you, I don't watch it, so I'll never know how our little mall shows up on camera. :o)
