So, as I mentioned before, my New Year's Resolution is to be a better wife and mother. Another big part of that is having a nice, clean house. Or at least, a cleaner house than I have. And it's not just because I have a toddler - I've never really been that tidy.
Edie introduced me to FlyLady back when I lived in Albuquerque, I didn't really keep up with it, and removed myself from the email list. But now, I've re-signed up, and am fully dedicated to it.
Even if you don't want to be a full-blown fly lady, and you have a spotless house, at least check out the shining the sink thing. The result is amazing, seriously.
you might want to check out motivated moms for their cleaning calendar. you can also get it with Bible reading. i can email you my copy from 2008 to see it if you want.
ReplyDeleteI've used SOME of the FlyLady techniques for a couple of years. We still make our bed every day. Yay us! :o)
ReplyDeleteShe's always got good advice. Good luck keeping up with it!
Oh, I should totally do fly lady again. I fell off that bandwagon in Albuquerque too. The only thing I hated was putting on my shoes every morning. Ugh! It probably did make me more productive though!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love the book The Proper Care and Feeding of Husbands. It's a great book to read about being a better wife. Such great reminders! I really need to reread it!
Ok, babe, now I'm convicted about my dish drainer. I'm going to TRY to make a place for it under the sink so I can shine, shine, shine! Thanks for this nudge :)
ReplyDeleteI'm ALL about routine and schedules, so I LOVE FlyLady.
