Shanelle posted pictures of eggs that she modge podged, and I thought it seemed like a fantastic idea! So, for the past few days, that's what I've been working on. I was at Joann's yesterday, and found this cute little egg stand, so I put some in there, and the others are in a plain old egg crate.
I'm envisioning a photo shoot with the girls in their Easter dresses with these eggs, so stay tuned to see if that actually takes place.
so cute. and i love the holder. AND the photoshoot sounds like a great idea. yer so crafty :)
ReplyDeleteWell done! Good way to use some scrappidy scraps! :o) I'm not going to make it work for this Easter, but I see myself buying up the leftover (read: clearance) eggs next week. :o)
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe (whadya think?) doing something similar with glass ornaments at Christmas.
Yay for Mod Podge!!
They're beautiful, good job! I'm looking forward to the pics with the beautiful girls!
ReplyDeleteWow! I love the egg holder!!! You did such a great job! I'm telling you, Mod Podge can be so dangerous, I love the stuff :o)
ReplyDeleteOooohhhh....here's another pretty idea: http://flibbertigibberish.blogspot.com/2010/04/eggs-to-dye-for.html
ReplyDeleteA bit more work (maybe?) than the decoupage, but VAHRY LAHVERLY.
:o)
I love those eggs! I've been meaning to work with Mod Podge sometime in this lifetime...can you believe I never have!?
ReplyDeleteOh, and I LOVE making camera straps! Though, I've never done a pieced one before, just two different fabrics for each side, but it's my favorite thing to make for fellow SLR friends. Pretty quick and easy - my typical sewing. If I ever plan a craft day soon, I'll let you know! Don't you just ADORE having a SLR? Landon "jokes" that he kind of regrets the day he got it for me because I'm obsessed with using it and playing with it....
Oh, and I need to come see your house again! I love all the color in your house. I love color, but my neutral tendancies pull at me a little too much, but while my mom was here we added some more fun stuff to my house to pep it up a little. Can I tell you again I love those eggs!?
